Stages of the Competition
Stage I: Preparation, 2009
- Choose a Master`s program according to the fields of the top priority for Ukraine. Deadline: end of July 2009.
- Students choose a country, university and Master`s program (we recommend to choose 3-5 Master`s programs)
- Take all necessary tests and examinations. We suggest doing it as soon as possible and recommend to finish by the end of June
- Students take tests and examinations according to the international student requirements set by the university and the corresponding Master`s program
- Fill in and submit the application form (not obligatory, but highly recommended). Deadline: 15 June – 15 October 2009.
- Students inform the Foundation about their intention to take part in the competition (fill in and submit an application with attached certificates – TOEFL, GRE etc.)
- Find out about the preliminary decision and recommendations from the Foundation
- The Foundation informs the candidates about their eligibility to compete. Such decision is preliminary and does not guarantee the grant award. The Foundation reserves the right to recommend the candidates alternative Master`s programs within the candidates’ competence.
Stage II: Admission to university and grant award , 2010
- Apply to the university. Deadlines: September 2009 – March 2010.
- The candidates independently apply to the universities according to the set requirements and seek matching funding.
- Submit the grant application form to the Foundation (as soon as the candidate is enrolled to the university and gathers all necessary paperwork on the matching funding). Timescale: March – June 2010.
- Having received a confirmation letter from the university about the enrolment to the Master`s program, the candidate submits the grant application form to the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and attaches a legitimate confirmation of the matching funding availability.
